According to Visit Utah — a website that promotes travel to Utah by the state of Office of Tourism — the Great Salt Lake boasts "magical walks in the wetlands to breathtaking sunset sails to unparalleled bird-watching thrills." It created a guide last year on places to visit at the lake, including Antelope Island State Park, Bear River Migratory Bear Refuge, Farmington Bay's Eccles Wildlife Education Center, Great Salt Lake State Park, Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve and the Spiral Jetty.
