Brian Albers / For KUER

Everybody seems to agree the Great Salt Lake is in dire straits. So, what can be done to help it?

A lot of ideas have been proposed for getting more water to Great Salt Lake. This Friday at 11 a.m., we’ll talk to one individual who, inspired by his deep affection for the lake, has taken it upon himself to pursue a pair of radical solutions. We’ll also discuss more mundane and perhaps realistic proposals put forth by official study groups and the state legislature. But to understand what can actually be done to save the lake, we need to understand why its in this problem in the first place, so we’ll talk about that, too.
