Map: Saving water in the Great Salt Lake watershed

The Utah Department of Agriculture & Food has awarded $65 million worth of grants to more than 300 projects throughout the state from 2020 through spring 2023 though the Agricultural Water Optimization Program. The Great Salt Lake Collaborative mapped the 169 projects that fall within counties that sit entirely in the Great Salt Lake watershed. Several companies received more than one grant. The projected water savings is based on industry standard irrigation system efficiencies.
