Video by Alisha Anderson

This video is part of a year-long project about the Great Salt Lake. I created it six years ago, when—at a personal crossroads in life—I moved beside the Lake and was beginning to find my artistic voice. This video, "lacustrine," is a poetic telling of the Lake's ecology. It is an ode to the Lake who taught me.
