Long form essay by Ronald Rood

I can see through the lens of archaeology how the Great Salt Lake and surrounding environments have drastically changed just within the last few thousand years. People adapted along with those changes and the question remains how us modern people will cope with a warming planet. Native people, who for thousands of years lived and prospered in the Great Basin may have some advice for us through the archaeological record. I hope it is not too late!
